Creative lab is a beautiful place where imagination blossoms and reaches its height. When i was small,i never knew that i had the ability to draw.If creative lab was not there t would have never known about my ability.when i was studying in second standard was the time creative lab was installed in our school.everyone was curious about what it was.in second standard i learned how to draw characters and shapes.how to colourproperly.that is when i realised i had the potential to draw.[…]
We made rabbits all sorts of origami using colouredpapers.everyone understood their hidden talents.in third standard we learned about GIMP.How to create picture in gimp.Gimp is a computer software in which we can draw without any limitations. In Gimp we drew all sorts of things landscape house etc. We had 3 labs, one art lab, digital lab and media lab. In 4thstd we learned about photography, how to handle a camera and to take pictures.landscapes, funny pictures with our friends. We used to be so naughty.
We have lots and lots of good memories in creative lab. In 5thstd i learned about videography. How to take videos in camera. To be frank everyone in my class love to be in creative lab.that year we had to do our group short story. We were divided into 4 groups and made to create a story. I still remember, our story was about two scientists mixing up two wrong chemical formula and making a zombie. I was actually scared by the person who wore the zombie costume. He had blood coloured tattoo on his face.
We had to always run away from him. Unfortunately we couldn't complete our video, but it was super awesome creating it. In 6th standard we learned about Anim Studio Pro, were we would select landscapes and make our own characters. We learned 2 D animation, how to animate characters. It was totally fun. Presently, in 7th standard, we are learning about blender and clay modelling. Blender is a software in which we can create 3 dimensional objects. In art lab we are learning about group activity, how to make clay models. My favourite thing about creative lab they showcase everything we do. I really want to learn more and more things in creative lab.
To really bring out my creativity. What creative lab has helped me the most is my fashion designing, when i was in 4th i saw my seniors drawing and making costumes. From that day onwards i had started designing lots of dresses, even though it was not my subject to learn. Creative lab and all the teachers have helped me in with my designs. I love creative lab . I have really grown from scribbling to drawing perfectly have been my potential. All thank to creative lab. Thank you very much image minds.

Image minds, creative lab was established in our school in the year 2012, when I was in the 4th grade creative lab was something new to us and we were all filled with curiosity in order to get inside air-condition, colourfully painted rooms to enjoy ourselves. I should say, indeed my class was lucky because we had two cl classes a week and since wore in the A division, we got the oppertunity to attend the classes first […]
our first session was taken up by Miss Elena. She taught as about photography and how to edit and do a collage in GIMP. mam divided us into groups, 8 in number and ask us to name our groups. Luckily my group's name was Galaxy and ours was the first collage that Mam printed and we still have the frames with us hung to remember beautiful memories. We also got the enhance to get our own group's personal cameras for the whole year and store our photos in it.
The film posters draw our attention but the trailers attracted as more. In 5th grade we were taught of videography and was pushed into the world of shooting movies and shortfilms. This year was propebly the favourite and it was made so by Miss Elsa Sneha. She really gave us innovative ideas to make our storyboards and create the script. And all of us totally in group's created around three shortfilms each and I too have the copies with me.
6th grade was a step which took ahead in the motion animation and gave us information about 2D objects. It was MrAbhilash who introduce this to us and the first term that we came upon was THAUMATROP. It was actually fun and we would get a bunch of them collected in the creative lab. The next week was filled with different coloured FLIP books and all of the 5th graders really brought out new themes.
We again studied in deep in 7th grade about stop-motion animation and 3D objects. In this year we had to create cute wonderful shortstories apart from that we not only created the script but also the clay models which we were trained to, the brief background, features, effects and we started on each time with perfection. Miss Megha really helped us a lot to get through it.
There are so many who love designing and in the 8th grade we witnessed the steam of new fashion designers who came out on to the lights. MrSumin guided us involved not to create the same stuff with same ideas and therefore gave us extravaganca of different models and everybody came up with dazzling gowns, stunning tops, half cut skirts and so on. Gladly we would show all of this on CLUB day.
Vacations always remembered as of games and especially board games. We always played monopoly, snakes and ladders where were already common but from now on we could try out new because in 9th grade we got the chance to create our own board games and Ms. Teena handled it gracefully. She gave us ideas from which we would make our game the toughtest and the most interesting.
Imageminds has laid the foundation for us Patricians to indeed discover, develop and dulce our talents. Over the past six years, we have turned into a new creative persons by living to take eye catching photos, memorable videos, cute characters and our on little story, design new costumes and to indulge ourselves in our board games. If there wasn't a creative lab in our school it really would have been felt a lack. Indeed in future when we have doctors and engineers us patricians are pretty much sure that we would see as stream of artist too.. it has help us all personally to improve as well as to boast confidence to showcase our undiscovered talents which even we wouldn't have come to know if we hadn't had this great exposure. Not only does it enhance our drawing skills, designing and digital screening but also to be a good auvator. We have radio club in our school which is an initative of our creative lab is indeed commentablebeacause I myself in RJ have experienced a whole loat of what the RJ's go through as a part of their work . We have also conducted various competitions such as salas making in which all of us radio members had a wounderful treat that week. Another competition was cake-iceing and all those who loved taking photos really enjoyed it. We also showcased a huge moraic art on the are of christmas in LULU.
Indeed I think upon taking character drawing and the amazing fact was that I never draw until we had to for the CL project. But now I love drawing and as well as scripting and all the lovers like me really pay kndoos to creative lab for that.

I am Shivan, a student of class 9, from st.Michael’s Academy. Since our childhood we all were very interested in playing games , Indoor and Outdoor games such as Football, Cricket, Badminton, Snake and Ladder, Monopoly etc. Also some games on computer like car racing, wrestling and many more. As a child I was keen to know how such games for playing on computer are made and who are those people who develop games for us to play. I was very much interested in digital and video games since my childhood. I also wanted to develop such game on my own but I was not aware about all the things included in game development.[…]
One day we came to know that Imageminds is going to setup their labs in our school and they will tech us all creative subjects such as Drawing, Painting, Photography, Videography and also Game and its development. That day I got a good chance to learn more about digital game and its development. I have learnt many softwares with the help of Imageminds teachers and now I am able to develop my own game by using digital platforms.

The creative lab was introduced in St. George's College in the year 2015. Being a student of the same institution, it gives me quite a sense of pride to say that this room of creativity has helped all students at an utmost level. As a fashion enthusiast, I was delighted to find fashion designing in our program when the creative lab was launched. It brought us exposure, and the students benefited a lot from the knowledge they were given. This is because creative subjects like these are usually not a part of the school curriculum. Indeed, it was fun and interesting to learn it.[…]
However, fashion designing is a small aspect of this place. It was encouraging and exciting to see gaming too a part of our syllabus, which is immensely interesting. Above all the fun and knowledge, the creative lab has given us a learning experience. It is well equipped not only with a vibe of creativeness but also technology. Many of the students among us aspire to do creative jobs in future, and this place has provided them a clearer vision and experience to pursue their dreams.
I have been very particularly amazed by the importance given to photography as it is an aspect of my interest as well. It has been more than two years since this room of creativeness was built in our institution, and I can claim to have brought out the best in me from here. Talking about academics, I have always found it mundane as mathematics gives my brain no entertainment. But when the creative lab was installed, there occurred a balance in our academic life. As in, we get enough time to do creative work in our week, which is productive, and because of the same, usual studies seem boring no more. As we took part as actors in a lot many of short movies, we have become confident in front of the camera, and can answer to the questions without any fear. This has helped us shaping our personality well.
The technology here has proved to be very helpful. The teachers have helped us to learn various new softwares such as in gaming and designing. This shall add to our credit in future, and will definitely help us. The creative lab has given a boost to our creativity, enriching our minds with many new ideas. There are still new frontiers today, and various ideas waiting to be discovered . And certainly, the creative lab has made its students the explorers of ideas. In my personal life, this place has taught me to have a better outlook towards life, and to look for solutions for problems with a totally different and a unique angle.
I have gained better decision making skills, I have also learnt better time management, and learnt various new uses of technology. I am now aware to the basic rules applied in arts, such as in sketching, painting, shading etc. The atmosphere of this place, being attractive, appealing and comfortable does help us to think better. After all, this place has taught us that its all about the ideas we have. Nevertheless, we are sure to have developed a good level of understanding and creating ideologies. These skills that this place have given me are essential today to participate anywhere, to even get a job. And a large part of our career is being shaped here. Truly, the creative lab has been a very useful asset, which has helped us change and develop our lifestyle, personality. Without such a place, our creative skills would never have been discovered by us.

I was in class III when Imageminds Creative Labs were introduced in my School, St. Patrick's Academy. From then, Creative Labs has helped me a lot in improving my artistic skills. It helped me gain confidence in designing and creating my own name slips, greeting cards, posters, maps etc when I was just 8 years old. I learned to draw and make a lot of colourful and creative things there. […]
In the following years, I learned Photography, Videography and Editing. I have directed my own short films and I feel really proud each time I see my name scrolling in the credits. Now I am in class VI learning ‘Acting and Cartoon Animation’. Animation has become my favourite subject. It is very interesting, because I can make my own characters and give life to it by making it move the way I wish.
The word 'Creative Lab' makes us so excited and thrilled that my friends and I make sure that we never miss attending school whenever we have a CL period. My aim in life is to become a Creative Lab Teacher, and share all ideas and knowledge we have learned from our Creative Labs.

Creative lab hours keep away the kids’ sickness. The kids are so energetic and make sure that they attend school on the days they have Imageminds class. I feel this is because of the way Imageminds foster creative thinking and artistic development in the children.[…]
Both my children, in the Primary and Secondary classes highly appreciate the Imageminds sessions. They could witness how the raw concepts they have been taught are given shapes and figures precisely by their teachers in the Creative Lab. The creative practices of photography, videography, animation etc., which were once unknown to school children are now clear and looks specifically framed for them. It makes them think different and probe into newer areas. Thanks to the Imageminds team for making sure that both sides of children’s brain are put to task.

Creative Labs in St. Patrick’s Academy facilitates our children to be more creative. As a parent, I really appreciate the hard work rendered by the Imageminds staff.
My elder son, Abel Gipson of Class IX created a mobile game this year by using App Inventor. This had helped him gain more confidence in programming techniques.[…]
Three years back I had to help my daughters to prepare charts and other project works. They did not have any idea regarding the artistic work. But today, they make awesome birthday cards and video presentations, and take good photos all by themselves.
I am amazed to see the students in this school getting accustomed with Mac OS, latest video and sound editing software, game applications, photography and editing techniques. Hats off to Imageminds - The best aid in providing all-round growth in 21st century.

Both my kids study in at St.Michael’s academy. One of class 4 and the other is of class 8. The Imageminds classes are very helpful to both my kids. It’s one of the motivating factors to come to school. They feel they are really learning something new and free, as they are bored and tired with books, notes and writing. The lab atmosphere is something that is inviting them.[…]
I feel image minds respects individuality and they are given personalized attention. My kids have become team builders and Imageminds has helped them to think beyond the classroom, i.e thinking out of the box. My Daughter has decided to set her career in fashion designing and her image minds classes are helping her a lot to explore the possibilities. It is helping the academics as they are able to do well in their projects too. My daughter’s projects were displayed, recognized and appreciated even by her subject teachers.

My child studies in class 7, learning to create models and characters on his own. I see lot of changes in him since then. He has started to arrange his one room in a very organized manner. One fine day i asked him the reason for it and he said that in his image minds class the teacher had asked him to create an interior model of his own room.[…]
It surprised me as how image minds classes can help my child in even organizing and arranging his own room in a proper manner. He has now learned to create models which interest him a lot, settling his career in 3d modeling has become a passion for him. And i also encourage him to do what interests him the most. Thank you Imageminds…!!!

Imageminds came to school in the year 2012,and then on the school had creative art and skill competitions which helped the youngsters to showcase their talents.[…]
The ideas and creative thoughts that the kids have and the way they take interest in creative the script, taking up roles, moulding character and setting the screen play is really of high efficiency.
Indeed these experiences would really help them in the future. Moreover,my kids are really crazy about animated and Disney movies. They got to do the same as the editor of animated movies.I would really feel the curiosity of them in their works.
I have indeed experience in minds of my kids their energy and excitement in attending the creative lab classes. All of them really like the way of creativity and was attracted by the wonderful painted rooms. Image minds have made the kids capable of handling their works, projects and assignments individually. It not only churns them to do it individually but also with great efficiency. Their exposure toward the apple computers and smart devices even more new paths to come up with different ideas. The creative lab also keep up lize the students to showcase their talents in an organised manner with a deep knowledge about them.
There was a great change in the perspective on taking photos in children when they were
young and iI feel the difference. This lab was something really valuable for the kids yo get the extra co curricular talents boosted. The young generation also show their interest in photography too. When there were marriage ceremony, bday parties, functions etc we could see all young hands filled with camera . Apart from the radio club facility of the creative lab gives a meticulous training for good creation. They get chances to really know the taste of the radio jockey's and how their job is.
Imageminds also give a clear picture to the kids on which carrier to be chosen in the future
with so much of various experiences and challenges it indeed gives them all around development.
The creative lab allow the kids to explore this talent and thereof helps to choose their profession differently without any guidance since they know their abilities and qualities.
As a parent I feel proud because the creative lab has shown excellence in bringing up the students who had artist hidden in them which were yet to be discovered. If their wasn't such an exposure to them in this school we would have failed to discover the young minds.Creative lab as already helped in handling up the artistic skills of kids and helping them discover the creative brain and work on it.

In the year 2012,Imageminds a Chennai based company introduced the concept of creative lab in St.Patrick's Academy, Angamaly. This concept was welcomed by the students as well as the management with cheer enthusiasm.[…]
Just like other students, my three kids were also very excited about this whole venture.Early when they used to come to school it was a sort of monotonous eight periods schedule which was totally related to the academics stuffs.
But over the years Imageminds has dealt with so many different various like photography, clay modelling, stitching, fashion designing, gaming, short films and documentaries for the students, it was a completely a new world where they were given the responsibilities of understanding the intricacies of the digital world. Students were given to many oppurnutinities to bring out their creative talents to whole groups, have discussions supported by expert guidance from the Imageminds dedicated staffs. All the latest technologies in the digital world has been introduced byImageminds to our young minds.
Imageminds has certainly made learning interesting and a fun activity and it has certainly paved the path forward to opening new career options to the interest of the students.

My son joined in Class VII in St.Patrick’s Academy, Angamaly, one of the renowned institutions in Ernakulam. I chose that school depending on various factors like academic excellence and most importantly, their innovative idea of “Creative Lab” concept, that too during the curriculum hours of the school. In school, children are tested only with their academic excellence, but in collaboration with Image minds their creative potential is also developed. The fundamental phenomena of bringing out the creativity and in built art talent are exerted only because of Creative Lab concept in School.[…]
In the present scenario, we should be ready to groom our children face challenges. In that way, Imageminds covers all arenas such as cartooning, Photography, Videography, Fashion designing clay modeling etc., all these are basic concepts or the introduction to the higher studies. The Creative Lab has brought out the best of my child and I really appreciate its presence within the curriculum of the school.
Introduction to children on Rapid growing technology is also an important concept of the creative lab. That one hour class motivates the children to bring out their talents. It is a platform to learn and exhibit one’s creativity. It develops the creative thinking and innovative ideas. Individual attention and excellent faculties and friendliness are most important factor behind the success of the Imageminds programme. Because the creativity and innovative ideas thinking is cultivated, students are able to do their assigmnets, projects, art and science exhibitions by their own, which is really a gift to the parents. Parents need not spend their valuable time in doing the project of their children. To put the long story short, we are able to see the Children growing by bringing out their expertise in creative energies. I take this opportunity to express thanks to Imageminds for giving opportunity for the children to explore the world of creativity.

My 11 year old daughter, Olivia Pearlin is full of joy and enthusiasm from the day Imageminds became a part of her education as she is a very creative child from her pre-school.
But I am the worst kind of mom who was so scared of her interest in artwork thinking it will affect the studies. I never encouraged her to do any artwork, but restricted her from doing any.[…]
At ‘ICREAS –‘16’, the Art Expo conducted by Imageminds, I was so surprised to understand that I was wrong and how blessed it is to be born with creativity. It is amazing to see each child's creativity coming out of their mind and hands in various forms of artwork: be it threadwork, fashion designing or name any piece of art displayed there.
Thank you St. Micheal’s Academy for bringing in Imageminds and opening the doors of creativity. Imageminds do bring out the hidden talents of our little stars, allowing them to explore and realize who they are and what they are capable of.

Schooling is one of the most influential experiences in an individual’s lifetime. Bangalore International Public School is giving the students opportunities to explore and focus on lots of activities and projects in various fields — one such is Imageminds.[…]
My son, Arnav S Sindhoor got an opportunity to participate in the ‘Google Code to Learn’ Competition, an All India level Coding Competition conducted by Google India. Arnav won the competition at the National Level. This has encouraged him to bring out the best of his creative and coding talent. I had the priviledge and pleasure to be a part of this project and activities. As a parent, I believe that parental involvement in the activities will bring confidence and positive impact on children.
In Imageminds Labs, students are exposed to a great deal of diversity that fosters and nurtures their talents and creativity in various fields. Here, the students have the opportunity and exposure to global space. The curriculum is comprehensive and there is a global focus on the topics taught. There is a healthy blend of scholastic and co-curricular activities to ensure all round development in students.
Today, it’s important for students to seek world-class, 21st century knowledge and skills, which Imageminds is providing. I am sure this will give Arnav adequate confidence and a set of values, and make him a fine global citizen.

We have to groom children to face the challenges of the 21st century needs. The needs can be met only when there is a skill to appease it. And the schools must provide a gamut of skills to adapt to the changing needs of higher education and work.[…]
Imageminds, a school-based visual arts module, complimented the objectives of our school. In Mahatma, we are strongly oriented towards thematic school-based activities. All the themes chosen are stated by the UNO. The purpose of the themes is to create immense awareness of global needs. The Creative Lab in St.Patrick's Academy was introduced in the year 2012 on the 29th of September. This year makes 3 years since the innovative project has made inroads into the curriculum of the school. It caters to all the students from Classes I to IX and covers a whole range of creative projects not dealt within an ordinary classroom. It is a very good opportunity for the students to learn by doing.[…]
Ever since this project was first introduced to the students, they have taken to it ' like a duck takes to water'. The levels of creativity and imagination has soared beyond words and brought out the innate talents that they themselves were not probably aware of. This is due to the committed and dedicated staff of the creative lab. They are always willing to walk that extra mile when required to facilitate some project, activity or school chore for any function that takes place in the school.
When I put out an evaluation to the parents of the students to gauge the level of receptivity and knowledge they have towards an innovative project of this sort, the opinions right across the board were unanimous: "The Creative Lab has brought out the best of our wards and we readily appreciate its presence within the curriculum of the school. We do not demand any change of plans for the future." Very telling words, and why not, since this dedicated team has proved their worth in gold.
I'm very appreciative of the wonderful work they have been doing with the students and I continue to support and encourage them in the future of the school, to enhance their creativity and expertise to deal; with the challenges of the 21st century education.
Bro. Christopher Dawes Principal, St.Patrick's Academy, Angamaly.

We believe in the motto, 'Parent is the first teacher and teacher is the second parent'. Last year we introduced Imageminds program, which is a very innovative program. We are very impressed with the environment and atmosphere created inside the Imageminds labs.[…]
Imageminds has totally changed the perspective of the children's creative talents. In a place like Dindigul, Imageminds has brought in so much of difference in children. Especially we have fashion designing, clay modeling, and photography nurturing the creative talents in the children. When our students work with Apple I Mac computers, it is rejuvenation in our district.
Imageminds lab is a wonderful setup. The color selection, placement of objects and its environment are very creative. To summarise, Imageminds provides the facility and creative environment that any metropolitan city school will have.

We at Chellamal believe that education is the passport for future. While we are striving to turn India to a developed country, as educationists, we feel the responsibility to focus on skill development that could groom our students as efficient entrepreneurs.[…]
We believe that this is possible only by giving right exposure and guidance to the students in practicing all creative pursuits. This is where Imageminds offered their support.
Imageminds gave our students the opportunity to discover their talents, understand their likes and dislikes and improve their ability to express ideas in a creative manner. The skills developed through Imageminds support the learning of the regular curriculum, as the students are able to use these skills whenever possible for activities and assessments in class. It is not only about the skills, but also the interest with which each child hops in to the Art studio is the best sight for any educationist.
We were astound when we saw our kids of class I and II creating book marks and pop up cards to express their love to teachers during Teachers day. It was also overwhelming to see the wonderful cover pages and posters created by our students for our school activities during Library week and Children's day. We could relish the happiness that our children is getting in exploring with paint, clay, crayons, foam sheets etc., and while clicking creative photographs and designing digital pamphlets. The documentary films developed for the school's ISA project of the British Council are worth a mention here.
Imageminds not only supported us in students' skill development, it took the lead in all our program of action. Be it any World day celebration or our cultural festivals, Imageminds helped us making the celebrations creative, fresh and enjoyable. Especially, the Ganesh Chathurthi celebration was made mindboggling with the eco -friendly Ganeshas created by our students.
Imageminds took us in high spirits when they made the entire school to put its palm impression on a framed, mounted cloth to form the wall of integration. That day, I was personally able to view the idea conceived in my dream. We are happy that we could use the wall of integration as the back drop for our Independence Day celebration.
With Imageminds, we are able to see the 'Children growing' by channelling their creative energies. We are sure that the students of Chellammal will not be employees, but employers choosing their vocation.
Overall, I take this opportunity to express our delight about the association with Imageminds.
